It dawned on me that I had forgotten something rather vital to fanfic: the disclaimers. And going back to add disclaimers to every single fic would be rather time-consuming (when I could be writing more stories), thus I've decided to post a disclaimer for each canon and put them here in one master post. This will be very much a work in progress, so, ye legal types, please don't sue me: I'm a disabled retail wage slave and while I have some money in savings, it's not enough to cover all of you. And really, do you wanna be known as the lawyer who shakes down disabled people like a sixth grade bully picking on third graders for their lunch money??

This is part of a possible series of short (~100 words) fics, all of them taking place at the end or just after the end of "Revolutions", all of them describing the thoughts and internal feelings of various characters when the war ends and the cycle of struggle between man and machine stops. I'm starting off with Councillor Hamann, since he's a really great character, sort of like the small-town homely sage or the crusty but kind-hearted high school janitor, but he never gets much fic coverage, which in my eyes is a terrible oversight... So, I thought I'd give his POV first...

Filker's Note: Got this idea from my wacky friend Mark when we were driving to see "The Matrix: Revolutions" at a local IMAX theatre and James Taylor's "You've Got A Friend" was on the CD player, so Mark started changing the words, sort of "Matriculating" them. So, this one's for you, Mark! (Also, special thanks goes out to "Lady Smith" for helping me with one sticky line I got stuck on.)

Disclaimer: I don't own the words to "You've Got a Friend", which belong to James Taylor. I don't own "The Matrix" either, which belongs to the Brothers W (Wachowski and Warner), Joel Silver Pictures, Village Roadshow, etc.
