"You'd think we'd get a little thanks now and then..." Tsuzuki grumbled.
"If this is your way of getting a raise, I'm afraid it won't work," Tatsumi said, not looking up from stirring his tea.
"No, I don't mean the money. I mean... the people who cross over: a lot of them barely even thank us for helping them."
"You have a point, but a lot of them are still in shock; gratitude might be the last thing on their minds."
"You're right... I guess you can't be hard on someone who's caught in that situation: they don't know better..."
