Violet eyes. Rare in a human, nonexistent in the full-blooded, but among those with darkness in their veins, not unusual. Both intact, despite the damage to one in the old photo. The right. Like his own lost eye.
That gift of healing: once he isolated it and used it to heal Ukyou, he would use it to heal himself, to repair the flaws he'd inherited from his mother, his grandfather's flawed creation, then restore his eye.
He wondered if the eye that grew into its place would have the silver of his own eye or the violet of Tsuzuki's eye.
