Christmas night and Muraki had gone in search of some company for the night, roaming the streets of Shinjuku. Till he sensed a familiar dark presence, a tug on the thread that linked him to the boy. He followed it to a corner bar, where he paused at a frosted window, wiping it clear to peer within.
The boy and the one whom he loved sat within at the bar, sharing a cup of Christmas cheer, Tsuzuki's hand on the boy's thigh, hidden by the bar top.
Two sharing their warmth, their love while he could only watch from without.
