The boy had never had so much as a cold till now, one of the strengths he had to balance that sensitivity to the moods of others. And yet, after that night when the servants found him asleep and rumpled beneath a cherry tree, he had lost his energy and appetite. The local healers couldn't find a cure, and so they brought him to one of Tokyo's larger hospitals seeking treatment.
Even there, even with the country's top physicians, including one man from an old family of physicians tending Hisoka, the boy failed to improve. If anything he grew worse...
