mtxref_ficAuthor's Note: Written for < lj user="fuda_100">'s "strength". Featuring Hisoka and Tsuzuki, possibly set during the snowfall in the Kyoto arc.
"How do you put up with me?" Tsuzuki asked, head pillowed on Hisoka's knee.
"I could ask you the same question," Hisoka replied, stroking Tsuzuki's hair.
"I'm serious."
"You really want to know?"
"Yes."
"It's your strength."
"Whaat?" Looking up, eyes wide in surprise.
"It's true: don't let anyone tell you otherwise, and don't think about yourself in any other way. You have the strongest heart I've ever seen, a heart with a place for everyone. I used to think that made a man weak. But now..."
"Now what?"
"Now I think that makes you the strongest man I know."
"How do you put up with me?" Tsuzuki asked, head pillowed on Hisoka's knee.
